About this Event
Whether you're an experienced model, brand new to the scene, or just curious about what modelling involves, this one's for you. No experience needed, just bring an open mind and a bit of confidence to build on.
On the day:
- Polaroids for everyone who comes along
- A short session with Malene Kerr (@kerrativestudio) on natural movement, posing, and feeling at ease in front of the camera
- Hands-on practise in front of 921 Studios’ photographer, Craig
- Good company, good conversation, and plenty of room to connect
Orignally from Denmark, Malene has spent over 20 years working in fashion around the world and now coaches models (with a special focus on brides) on movement and confidence. This event is her way of bringing that experience to Christchurch's modelling community.
Spots are limited and tickets are just $10. If this one goes well, we'd love to make it a regular thing at the studio.

Craig Forster is a Christchurch photographer, videographer and the Creative Director behind Lightchasers , a production company known for striking photography, video and content that helps brands and businesses tell stories with impact.
Craig is also behind 921 Studio, a creative-first space for photographers, filmmakers and content makers to learn, experiment and create together. As a director and lead creative, he brings practical experience, clear insight and a collaborative ethos to every project and workshop he’s involved in.
