About this Event
In this workshop, we will look back at some of the creative outputs from the Migrant Memory and the Post-colonial Imagination project (Loughborough University, 2017-2024, https://www.memoriesofpartition.co.uk/). The project captured memories of Partition, 1971 and migration to the UK through creative activities such as exhibitions, films and music videos. Taking inspiration from the Mixtape Memories project in Leicester in 2021, where we explored themes of migration, resilience and memory through music and sound, we will make our own mixtape based on the memories and themes evoked through the workshop.
This event is part of the MMPI impact evaluation and responses may be recorded.
