Dream in Color is back, and we’re kicking off Year Two with a mixer at Tago! 🌴🥂Join Black Houston Creatives Network and our partners for the official Dream in Color Kickoff Mixer, bringing Houston’s creative community together for an evening of connection, cocktails, and collective impact as we launch this year’s citywide art supply drive.
Admission is free for the first 50 guests. Bring a new art supply and come be part of the first collection experience of the season.
Connect with fellow creatives, community leaders, partners, and supporters while learning what’s ahead for Dream in Color and how you can get involved.
Some of this year’s official Dream in Color partners include iSeeBlackCreatives, Arts District Houston, Art League Houston, Jerry’s Artarama, and Houston’s Most Influential, with more to be announced.
Last year, our community helped us collect more than 15,000 art supplies in just three weeks. This year, we’re dreaming even bigger, and it starts in this room.
Know Before You Go
Dress Code: Bohemian Chic - linens, neutral colors, garden cocktail party, all white, business casual. No jeans or Tshirts .
Admission: Free for the first 50 guests. Please bring one new art supply.
BHCN Members: Attend free. Members who would like access to the reserved BHCN section may purchase a VIP ticket, which includes reserved seating and a complimentary glass of champagne. 🥂 Due to limited seating, the BHCN section is exclusively for ticketed members; guests are not permitted in the section.
Parking: Free street parking is available. Valet is also available.

About Dream in Color
Dream in Color is BHCN’s citywide community impact initiative dedicated to expanding access to art supplies and creative opportunities for Houston youth.
Through collection experiences, partnerships, and activations across Houston, Dream in Color collects new art supplies that will be redistributed to children and families across the city through trusted community organizations. This year’s recipient partners will be announced soon.
