Come and see the miniature and model steam engines onsite on 19 and 20 September!While they may be smaller they have just as much power and might as the full size and you’ll be able to compare our full size and visiting miniature engines side by side as they trundle around our 36 acre site.
On both days there will also be a parade of all the engines on display ending in one place so you’ll not miss seeing any engine.
Drive a Locomotive: Take the controls of a locomotive on one of our industrial lines (without a train attached) for a unique hands-on experience. (Suggested donation of £5 applies for this activity)
Why not come and take in the sights and smells of these miniature steam engines as the Museum transforms into a world of steam, smiles and whistles.
