Best known to millions from MTV’s Jersey Shore, Mike’s story extends far beyond what viewers saw on television. This live event will take a deeper look at his journey through fame, addiction, recovery, Pr*son, family, and the work it took to rebuild his life.
Mike will be joined in conversation by Andy Symonds, co-author of Reality Check, for a candid discussion about the stories behind the book, the moments that changed his life, and what he’s learned along the way.
This is more than a book talk. It’s a conversation about second chances, resilience, and making the best of even the most difficult situations.

ABOUT MIKE SORRENTINO
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino became a household name as one of the original cast members of MTV’s cultural phenomenon Jersey Shore. His larger-than-life personality made him one of reality television’s most recognizable stars, but behind the success was a deeply personal struggle with addiction.
After years of highs and lows, Mike entered recovery and transformed his life. Today, he is a husband, father, entrepreneur, author, and advocate for addiction recovery, sharing his story in hopes that his experiences can help others.
In Reality Check: Making the Best of The Situation, Mike opens up about his rise to fame, addiction, legal troubles and Pr*son sentence, as well as the recovery, relationships, and personal growth that ultimately gave him a second chance.

Andy Symonds is the co-author of Reality Check: Making the Best of The Situation and will join Mike onstage for the evening’s conversation, taking audiences deeper into the stories and experiences behind the memoir.
