Mike Harding: Tales from the North

Join us for a special evening with poet and Portico member Mike Harding as he shares stories from his latest books as a fundraiser for Reuniting the Portico Library. His latest book, which is published at the end of November, is the second in a series of short stories. ‘As The Sky With Stars - Tales From The North’ is set in Manchester, Lancashire and the northern hills and Mike asks ‘what makes a story northern?’ .

The series began with Specky Four Eyes on the theme of childhood.

Signed copies of Mike’s books will be on sale at the night, including the first edition of As the Sky with Stars.
