ECHO Live — Empathy. Care. Healing. Outreach.
ECHO Live is a community gathering presented by Mics for the Missing, Inc. in partnership with the City of Boston. The event uses music, storytelling, community activities, food, and resource sharing to create space for people to connect around empathy, care, healing, safety, and collective action.
Taking place on October 10, World Mental Health Day, and during Domestic Violence Awareness Month and National Bullying Prevention Month, ECHO Live brings together artists, community leaders, advocates, organizations, and neighbors for an afternoon centered on connection and collective well-being.
Rather than simply raising awareness, ECHO Live invites us to consider the conditions that shape vulnerability and the role we can all play in creating communities where people feel connected, supported, and safe.
What happens when we build communities where people are seen, heard, supported, and cared for?
Through live music, performances, personal stories, interactive activities, community resources, and opportunities for conversation, ECHO Live creates a shared public space to reflect on that question—and explore what meaningful community care can look like in practice.

About Mics for the Missing:
Mics for the Missing Inc. (MFTMI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for all missing and exploited people, while working to address the disparities that leave some communities less visible and less supported.
Through collaborative, trauma-informed approaches, we work to close critical gaps in visibility, resources, and response—particularly for communities disproportionately impacted by systemic inequities. By harnessing the power of arts, education, advocacy, and media, we work upstream to support prevention, healing, safety, and community connection before a crisis occurs.
