Michigan Musicians Abroad

Musicians Abroad ensembles consist of student performers from the United States of America. Today’s performers come from the state of Michigan. Each performer you will hear today has spent many hours perfecting their musical skills.

Tour preparation began nearly 19 months ago. Music educators in each region nominated their finest performers, based not only on their musical skills, but also their character and displayed leadership.

The group gathered state-side for a few days of rehearsal in preparation for this once-in-a-lifetime International Music Experience!

In addition to several performances while in European countries, this Musicians Abroad tour provides time for sightseeing, experiencing local culture, shopping and enjoying delicious cuisine.

This group is from the great state of Michigan. Known for great lakes, rugged trails, tulips and beaches, Michigan, commonly referenced by its mitten shape, is surrounded on three sides by the Great Lakes. Michigan is the birthplace of the automobile industry and produces cherries, apples and blueberries.

Please welcome the performers and educators of the Michigan Musicians Abroad.
