Event Summary
MAX Stories Over Supper is an intimate four-course dinner experience bringing Muslim professionals together with accomplished senior leaders for candid conversations about careers, leadership, professional growth, and the journeys behind success.
For our inaugural Vancouver dinner, we are honoured to welcome:
- Walied Soliman - Canadian Chair, Norton Rose Fulbright | Board Chair, SickKids Hospital Foundation
- Adel Gamar - Leadership Expert, Educator and CEO, GLG Ltd. And Academic Director, UBC Sauder School of Business

These accomplished leaders bring experience across law, business, leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional services sectors. Rather than placing leaders on a stage, Stories Over Supper brings them to the table for genuine conversations and meaningful connections.
The dinner is intentionally limited to approximately 35 participants, creating an opportunity for attendees to engage closely with our featured guests, ask questions, hear personal stories, and build relationships in a relaxed setting. Space is limited, so we encourage early registration to secure your spot.

There is no additional charge for the meal.
The evening will take place at Tayybeh, a social enterprise that began in 2016 to create opportunities for Syrian refugee women to thrive in their new home city. Its story of creating opportunity, building community, and opening doors for others makes it a fitting setting for an evening centred on connection and professional growth.
