The MAX Executive Leadership Series, in collaboration with PwC, brings together professionals ready to take their next step into future leadership roles and into a legacy that lasts. This year's theme, Lead Without Limits, is designed to inspire professionals breaking into executive leadership ranks with powerful stories of resilience and inspiring conversations.

The evening features a panel of executive leaders, an open Q&A, and a curated networking experience over dessert leaving guests with fresh perspective, meaningful connections, and a network to fuel their next career move.

Speakers

Steve Hollinger | Managing Partner, PwC Canada

Steve is currently the managing partner of the Edmonton office and previously served as the Edmonton assurance practice leader and human capital partner. He has spent the majority of his 25-year career with the firm providing audit and related services to our Edmonton based private and public company clients. He has a wealth of experience dealing with large and growing private and public organizations.

Steve joined PwC in 1996 after earning his BCom degree with distinction from the University of Alberta. He has instructed courses on financial reporting, auditing, internal controls and audit committee effectiveness for PwC staff and clients, and for the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Mohamed Assaf, MBA, ICD.D | Vice President, Financial Services, Leon's Furniture

Moe Assaf is Vice President of Financial Services at the LFL Group, which includes Leon's Furniture and The Brick, Canada's largest furniture, mattress, and appliance retailer. He joined the company's Brick Division in 2002 and has since risen through several senior management roles, including associate vice president of financial services, before being appointed to his current position leading LFL's financial services strategy. He holds an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, an ICD.D designation, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta. A seasoned executive with a proven track record of driving strategic growth, Moe brings over two decades of retail finance leadership experience to the conversation.

Fatima Andleeb, FCA | Senior Manager, PwC Canada

Joining us as a moderator, Fatima is a Senior Manager at PwC Canada with nearly two decades of experience spanning audit, finance, and internal controls across Pakistan, the Middle East, and Canada. A Fellow Chartered Accountant, Fatima has built her career on a foundation of financial rigour and strategic insight from her early years at A.F. Ferguson & Co. (PwC Pakistan) to leading as Financial Controller at Forman Christian College, and later managing engagements across PwC's Middle East and Canadian practices.
