About this Event
Making Great Strides is a family-run group where we plan quarterly community events that fundraise money for the National Immigration Justice Center and promote civic engagement to support our immigrant neighbors against ICE and this administration. We hosted 3 successful events in 2025 raising $12,738.06 and one event a few weeks ago to kick off 2026 raising$3,503.08. We’ve written postcards to our reps, assembled whistle kits, and collected coats/diapers for local drives, among other things.
Please join us for our second annual 1M/5K run/walk fundraiser! We will have other organizations present to share information about their important work, fun raffle prizes for all attendees, and much more!
