Join Dragons Den Mahjong at Kings Co Imperial in Williamsburg for an evening of mahjong, good company, and a family-style Chinese feast — all included with your ticket.
Whether you're completely new to mahjong, already know the basics and want more practice, or you're ready to start learning points and scoring, there's a place for you at the table.
We'll kick off the evening with a guided Chinese/Hong Kong-style mahjong lesson for beginners, followed by open play with our Dragons Den hosts available to help throughout the night.
Already know how to play and want to take the next step? Ask one of our hosts to start you off with a points lesson!We'll help introduce you to scoring so you can begin adding another layer to your game.
Come with your crew — or come solo!
Mahjong is traditionally a four-player game, so bring three friends and make a table, or come on your own and we'll help match you with other players.
Solo players are always welcome. Some of the best mahjong tables begin with four people who haven't met before.
American Mahjong Players Welcome 🇺🇸🀄️
Already play American mahjong? You're welcome to bring your own set and play with your crew!
Please note that we won't be offering formal American mahjong lessons during the evening, as our lessons focus on Chinese/Hong Kong-style mahjong. However, Dragons Den founder and host Theresa Hong also knows how to play American mahjong and is happy to offer tips and help if you need it.
