2026 WILL BE OUR BIGGEST LANTERN FESTIVAL EVER
FREE ENTRY - all welcome!
Paint a lantern and display for all to see or release a floating lotus candle lantern onto the lake and watch in awe as hundreds of other people do the same. It's quite the spectacle. Painting and floating lanterns for sale at the event for $4 and $3.(Bring a lighter.)
FREE childrens show with Charlie Sillypants. A huge crowd favourite for kids and adults too. Charlie SillyPants is super funny and whacky with guaranteed laughs a plenty. 6:30pm.
FREE Mr. Marvel Circus Magic show at 5:30pm that will amaze and entertain.
Cheap Amusement rides and attractions! 4pm - 9pm
$10 Mechanical Bull - suitable for adults and even young kids (they can slow it down.)
$7 tea cup ride
$5 Inflatable Disney Cars Steve McQueen Slide
$5 XL Inflatable Fun House
$6 Duck Arcade Stall (like clowns) all kids win a prize.
FREE Star Wars characters meet and greet with great photo opportunities.
The wonderful Hampton Park CFA will be joining us again. Make sure you say hi and check out their trucks.
SPIDER-MAN ROVING - sure to be a hit!! Other mascots for photo opportunities too. FREE
Singers and Musicians on stage for the whole event. A big thanks to our sponsors Evolution Music Lynbrook and Vocal Performance School for their continued support.
Over 20 market stalls too. Great opportunities for cheap Christmas presents.
FREE ‘Fire Spectacular’ Show by the lake at dusk.
Our finale, a 15 person LED dragon dance to conclude the event in spectacular fashion!!! If you missed this last year you are in for quite the show!! Comes with its own drumming group. 8.50pm.
And of course food trucks!! CALLING ALL FOODIES - Cambodian, Polynesian, Greek, New York hot dogs, Dippin Dots, pizza, ice cream and coffee vans, animal fairy floss, potato twisters, and a BBQ will fuel the crowd!!! JUST WOW! And the usual LRA drinks and popcorn stalls. You will be very satisfied and sated.
Bring your family and friends down to Banjo Paterson Park and enjoy a whole lot of free entertainment and discounted rides and attractions. Come get your Lantern on!!
There's some great add ons this year, some never seen at previous LRA events like the Decibelz Chenda drumming group at 6pm.
