Join us for Love Your Maunga Community Day at Takarunga / Mount Victoria on Saturday 28 November 2026.Come together on the Maunga for a day of celebration, connection and fun as we mark the restoration of the historic courts and recent improvements at Takarunga.
Enjoy kapa haka performances from local schools and community groups, take part in taonga tākaro and basketball activities, explore the maunga through a self-guided hīkoi, hear from artist Arapeta Hākura, and connect with the many organisations helping to care for and restore Takarunga.
This special day brings together mana whenua, local communities and visitors to celebrate this much-loved place and spend time together on the Maunga.
We look forward to seeing you there.
