About this Event
How can the architecture profession create more accessible pathways into employment?
Young people have an important role to play in shaping the future of the built environment, yet many continue to face barriers to education, training and employment. How can employers help create more inclusive routes into professional life?
Join Scott Brownrigg at The Building Centre for a Lunchtime Talk exploring how the architecture profession can support emerging talent, widen access and help the next generation build careers in the industry.
Drawing on Scott Brownrigg's Future Talent Programme, which has engaged almost 1,000 students and emerging professionals in 2026, the discussion will explore practical approaches to mentoring, work experience, apprenticeships and early career development.
The panel will consider how employers can help break down barriers, build confidence and create meaningful opportunities, as well as how investing in future talent can benefit individuals, practices and the wider built environment sector.
