About this Event
Step into an evening built around light, shadow, texture, and slower observation.
Lumina: Immersive Light & Shadow Gallery is a small-format visual-art experience combining an intimate exhibition walkthrough, a short artist conversation, a guided light-object activity, and a relaxed social closing.
The event is intentionally limited to 40 attendees so guests can move through the space comfortably and engage with the installations without the density of a large festival.
The experience includes four parts:
Light & Shadow Walkthrough
Explore a small series of temporary visual installations using:
LED lighting;
layered translucent materials;
shadow projection;
reflective surfaces;
handmade lantern forms;
simple interactive light elements.
All installation elements should be secured and tested before doors open.
No open flame, fuel-burning lantern, or sky lantern is used.
Artist & Host Conversation
A live host introduces the exhibition concept and discusses topics such as:
how shadow changes spatial perception;
how color temperature affects visual atmosphere;
working with translucent and reflective materials;
building immersive installations at a small scale.
Only confirmed participating artists should be named on the final Eventbrite page.
Light Craft Activity
Guests create one simple personal light-diffusion object using pre-cut materials and a battery-powered LED light.
The activity is designed for beginners and does not require previous art experience.
Gallery Social
The evening closes with optional conversation, light refreshments, and zero-proof beverages.
Guests may exchange contact information voluntarily.
