Join us for one of Cal Poly Humboldt’s most anticipated traditions—the 2026 Lumberjack Weekend Block Party—on Saturday, October 10, from 4:00–9:00 PM!Set against the vibrant backdrop of campus, this year’s Block Party brings together an unforgettable lineup of contemporary soul, funk, and vintage-inspired sounds. Headlining the evening, Durand Jones & The Indications deliver their signature blend of timeless soul and modern groove. After more than a decade of global touring and acclaim, the band continues to evolve, channeling themes of growth, connection, and homecoming through their richly layered sound .
Joining them are East L.A.’s own Thee Sinseers, a dynamic ensemble known for their lush harmonies, full brass section, and a sound that seamlessly bridges classic soul traditions with fresh, modern energy. Their performances have captivated audiences nationwide, bringing heart, nostalgia, and innovation to every stage .
Also taking the stage, The Altons add their distinct voice to the lineup, alongside crowd-favorite HISpanic! At the Disco, ensuring a full evening of rhythm, movement, and celebration.
Beyond the music, guests can enjoy a variety of food trucks and attractions (to be announced), creating a lively festival atmosphere for students, alumni, and the broader community alike.
