As the cold weather approaches, many people in Hamilton are struggling with homelessness and hardship. Let's come together to provide warm clothing, food, and essential supplies to help those in need this winter.
❤️ WHAT IS LOVE ON HAMILTON?
Love on Hamilton is a Christian community outreach that takes place every Tuesday night in downtown Hamilton. Volunteers gather for worship and prayer before heading out in teams to connect with people on the streets through practical care, food, prayer, and conversations about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
No experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome!
🎁 HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
🙏 1. Donate Winter Clothing, Food & Essentials
Help provide much-needed items for people experiencing homelessness and hardship.
🧥 Winter Clothing & Warmth
- Coats, pants and sweaters
- Hats, gloves, scarves and boots
- Blankets and sleeping bags
- All-season tents
- Hand and foot warmers
🥫 Food & Other Essentials
- Non-perishable, ready-to-eat food
- Protein bars
- Boost / Ensure nutritional drinks
- Fresh fruit
- Travel-size toiletries
Gently used winter clothing and essential items are welcome. Every donation, big or small, can make a difference!
❤️ 2. Join Us for Street Outreach
You can also come along and experience Love on Hamilton firsthand! Join the team as we reach out to people on the streets, offer practical support, pray with those who wish to receive prayer, and share the love and Gospel of Jesus.
Whether you're new to street evangelism or have volunteered before, you're welcome to join us. You can bring a donation, participate in the outreach, or do both!
