Join the Woman Abuse Working Group (WAWG) for our annual Woman Abuse Prevention Month event, bringing together community members, service providers, advocates, and partners to explore how we can strengthen prevention and response to intimate partner violence (IPV).
What to expect:
Panel 1: Collaborative Approaches to Community Safety
Hear from community partners about what they're doing to prevent and respond to intimate partner violence. Panelists will share perspectives on initiatives and approaches that strengthen community safety.
Panel 2: Practical Approaches from Awareness to Action
Explore practical strategies for meaningful prevention and response. Panelists will share approaches, tools, and lessons from their work in the community.

Who should attend?:
This event is open to everyone. Community members, service providers, educators, advocates, students, professionals, and anyone interested in preventing and responding to intimate partner violence are welcome.
Admission is free.
Doors open at 12:30pm for a 1:00pm start.
Refreshments will be provided during the mid-afternoon break by the venue caterer. Catering will include vegetarian and gluten-free options.
