About this Event

LoudHer: Your Voice Under Pressure

A practical, uplifting workshop exploring what happens to our voice under pressure - and what we can do about it.

Freezing in a meeting. Going blank in an interview. Rushing through a presentation. Feeling your voice disappear in a difficult conversation.

We’ve all been there. The moment before you speak, your heart races, your breath shortens, your mind goes blank. Or, you open your mouth, and the words come out too fast, too quiet, or not quite how you meant them to.

That’s not a confidence problem. That’s your nervous system doing its job because it thinks you're under attack!

This 60-minute workshop - led by actress and voice coach Hannah Douglas - explores what actually happens to your breath and voice when you’re nervous, anxious or under pressure, and gives you practical, actor-trained tools to help you feel steadier, clearer, SAFER, and more like yourself when it matters most.

We'll explore:

✨ What happens in your body and voice when nerves kick in - and why

✨ Practical breathwork tools to regulate your nervous system and ground yourself before speaking

✨ How to slow down, structure your thoughts and speak with clarity under pressure

✨ Simple exercises to get you on your feet and speaking

✨ Techniques you can use immediately in meetings, presentations, interviews and everyday conversations

Whether you've completely lost your confidence or you just want to feel more calm and in control before speaking, you'll leave with tools that work straight away and can be built on over time.

Pay What You Can - Aimed at women and anyone who feels unheard. Zero pressure. 💜
