This session will explore how local manufacturing, technology transfer, investment and innovative financing can help countries strengthen health sovereignty, reduce costs and scale access to breakthrough health solutions.
Hosted by the Health Innovation Exchange, the discussion will bring together Missions, innovators, investors and ecosystem partners to examine a set of deployment-ready technologies with strong potential for local adaptation and scale. These include advanced cell and gene therapy platforms, AI-driven point-of-care ultrasound, autonomous drone logistics for medical supply delivery, and artificial intelligence solutions that can support diagnostics, health workforce capacity and system efficiency.
The session will look beyond the technologies themselves to the partnerships and implementation models needed to make them work. This includes regulatory pathways, workforce training, local assembly and manufacturing, market access, blended financing and public-private collaboration.
