About this Event
The Living Library is a consultation event connecting young people and students (aged 18-25) with 6 professionals from across the museum and heritage sector. The event invites participants to ‘borrow’ a book in the form of an industry professional for an open and informal conversation about their career, experiences and insights. Each ‘book’ represents a unique professional journey, from curators and collection managers to learning and public engagement officers. Through a structured rotation of conversations, participants will explore different routes into the sector, learn about challenges and opportunities, as well as share their own views on the future of museums and ask questions.
