Give us one evening in the first week of January and you'll leave with a word that belongs to you, five things that carry it, and a room of women who heard you say it out loud.
You arrive with a year you haven't decided anything about. You leave with a compass for it.
EVENT DESCRIPTION
Resolutions are a performance review you write for yourself and then quietly fail. A word is different. A word is a filter. It sits in your pocket all year and answers questions the calendar can't.
Words & Wonder is a two-hour evening on the fifth of January, before the year hardens into shape. You'll work a wall of 140 words — and the blanks, if none of them are yours — until one of them stops being interesting and starts being true.
Then you make it real. Stamp it into a bracelet you'll wear. Paint it on a stone that lives on your desk. Frame it. Write a sealed letter to the woman reading this next January. Eat well, drink something warm from the tea bar, and say the word out loud to a room of women who will remember it.
Five things go home with you. One of them is the word.
THE DAY
Doors at six, with a grazing board and the tea bar open. We choose our words together, then the atelier opens for a full fifty minutes — three stations, any order, at your own pace. At 7:30 we sit back down to write our letters, share our words, and toast. We finish at eight.

Bring nothing. Every material is provided and everything you make is yours to take. No craft experience required — the simplest version of each piece is often the best one. We start at six and finish promptly at eight. Tell us about dietary needs when you register.
