A Day of Recognition and Celebration

The LIT – Literary Inspirational Trailblazers Awards is a celebratory one-day literary event taking place in London on Saturday 11th April 2026, created to recognise, honour and celebrate writers whose work has contributed meaningfully to literature, culture and lived experience.

This is not a competitive awards event. It is a day of recognition, designed to celebrate voice, impact and journey.

On the day, 60 authors will be honoured as LIT Celebrated Authors, alongside Literary Honourees, in a warm, inclusive and affirming space.


What’s Included on the Day
Writer Masterclasses 10.30am - 12.30pm

Inspiring and practical masterclasses, including:

  • Memoir Writing – shaping lived experience into powerful narrative
  • Self-Publishing with Confidence – understanding publishing pathways and next steps

Suitable for emerging and established writers.


Book Marketplace Opens at 10.30 am closes at 4pm

A curated marketplace featuring independent authors and books.

Audience with the Founders - BOY by Fredi Nwaka and Geraldine's Pearl by Marcia M Spence

The heart of the day is the LIT Literary Inspirational Trailblazers Awards Ceremony:

This is a celebration of legacy, impact and transformation.
