I am excited to announce that I will be exhibiting my work at the Louder Than Words music literature festival, showcasing the "Listen Up!" poetry and lyric book from a national initiative I established to encourage young people to write about the topic of county lines exploitation and associated crime. This initiative has garnered support from judges across various ranks of policing from forces nationwide, as well as victims of exploitation, youth workers, and spoken word artists who have contributed their invaluable insights and experiences.I will be at the event in Manchester from November 14th to 16th, and I can't wait to share this important work with attendees. Additionally, I will have details about my upcoming initiative related to my "Missing" story, which is set to launch in November in collaboration with North Yorkshire Police.
The Louder Than Words Festival is now recognised as the U.K.'s biggest Music Literature Festival, and the weekend in 2025 promises to be an enriching experience featuring engaging conversations, topical panel discussions, workshops, writing surgeries, live performances, and opportunities for networking and socializing with fellow contributors, supporters, industry specialists, and audience members. This is an incredible platform to connect and share ideas, and I hope to see many of you there!
