Linocuts are a great entry point into the world of relief printmaking. Over four weeks, you will be guided through the creation of a linocut print from carving, inking and printing using both a manual printing approach and a semi-mechanized method using a Vandercook press. Participants will come away with chine-collé experimental proofs as well as a small edition of prints 10-15 prints that you can exchange with fellow students at the conclusion of the class.
