About this Event
Life Stuck Together is a signature Urban Woot creative experience.
Over 3 relaxed hours, you’ll make your own A5 hand bound journal using an eclectic collection of papers, prints, patterns and textures.
You’ll choose your cover and pages, learn how to construct and hand sew your journal, and leave with something completely individual.
No two journals will be the same.
Make yours as a thoughtful, handmade Christmas gift for someone you love.
Or keep it for yourself and start the new year with somewhere to collect your ideas, photographs, tickets, notes, sketches, memories and the bits of life worth holding on to.
Your journal doesn’t need to be finished when the workshop ends. It’s designed to keep changing as you add to it.
January sessions will include hot chocolate, tea/herbal teas and snacks.
What we’ll do
We’ll guide you through the whole process, from choosing and arranging your papers to constructing the cover, creating the signatures and hand sewing your finished journal.
This is about enjoying the process rather than getting everything perfect.
We’ll make, chat and share the table over mulled wine, warming drinks and festive nibbles.
Come on your own, with a friend or with someone you’d like to spend a creative afternoon with.
What’s included
Your ticket includes all the materials and equipment needed to make your journal, including a curated collection of papers and materials, step by step guidance, non alcoholic warming drink and nibbles.
You’ll leave with your own finished, hand bound A5 journal.
Do I need any experience?
Not at all.
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and we’ll guide you through each stage.
