What to expect?
These sessions run on select sundays across the year and are very much about offering a safe space for the community and allies to turn up as you are and engage with the land - to learn, share, play, rest, just be - whatever you need at that time.
Free to attend and a simple lunch and surplus produce available at each session (booking required so we know how many to cook for!)
There will be elements of responding to the present moment ie. with what is needed to be tended on site alongside some more guided activities from meditation, creative and making based through to harvest feast and end of season ceremony.
Overall, this is very much a place for you to come as you are and engage as much or as little as you like on that day - each session will include tea/coffee, a communal lunch as well as opportunity to take away any surplus produce.
Example running order...
* 10:55 - Arrive (all meet at the grassed area on the corner of Natal and Nesbitt road - just before the gate)
* 11:00 - 11:30 Welcome, check in with tea/coffee, observe and settle in
* 11:30 - 13:30 Engage with the land (different activities available at each sessions)
* 13:30 - 14:00 Lunch and check out (including any surplus food to take away)
What to bring ?
* Ensure you and anyone you are accompanying are wearing weather-appropriate clothing and footwear
* A bottle of drinking water
* Suncream (you'll be surprised even on a cloudy day!)
* Any Medic*tion and/or snacks you may need
* And lastly, yourself as you are : )
