Learn balboa swing from scratch! Balboa is known known for its close-embrace “hug-like” connection and fast shuffling footwork. Please note that this class will go at a slower pace than our Beginner Bootcamps or Beginner Workshops. Our focus will be on learning the basics, key moves, and techniques essential to balboa.
No partner or experience necessary.
However, we recommend that you have at least one year of social dance class experience (e.g., lindy hop, WCS, Argentine tango, etc.)
Closed-toe dance shoes recommended. We HIGHLY recommend wearing slick-soled shoes (e.g., leather soles) that allow you to slide your feet across the floor.
