Join the resistance! The Minnesota Music Resistance is hosting a postcard party to help get out the vote for the midterms. We have postcards, pens, postage, pizza and a playlist full of Minnesota music for the occasion. Hosted at the Zen Arcade in the Hook and Ladder.
We also have contact into for progressive-leaning voters who have historically skipped the midterms. We are working with Win Greater Minnesota, focusing on races outside of the metro area that could use support. Check out their website! https://wingreatermn.com/
Help DFL Candidates in Greater Minnesota
Many of us live in “safe” DFL districts where candidates face minimal opposition. Your support for candidates running in competitive races can provide crucial support where it’s needed most. The state legislature makes decisions on education, health care, criminal justice, the environment and more. They can act as a shield against federal overreach. Winning back control of the State House and widening our margin in the Senate won’t happen in the metro area—we need to flip red seats to blue in Greater Minnesota. Supporting these down-ballot campaigns also helps elect all of the other DFL candidates on the ticket. These “reverse coattails” may be the most effective way to influence other races.
