We're back at Brimscombe Mill for half term!
The cardboard has been gathering.
The gubbins have been multiplying.
The blue Makedo screws are ready.
And we're opening the doors for another couple of hours of making, inventing, experimenting and generally seeing what happens.
📦 Friday 30 October
⏰ 10am–12pm
📍 Brimscombe Mill, Stroud
Same deal as always.
Come in. Find some stuff. Make whatever you fancy.
Build something enormous. Make something tiny. Work together. Work on your own. Spend two hours on one thing. Abandon it after five minutes and start something completely different.
There are no instructions and no expected outcomes.
We provide the time, materials and permission. The kids provide the ideas.
And that's really the whole point.
The practical bits
Pay what you can: £5 / £6 / £7 per child or young person.
If money is tight, just ask us for a Session for Sam — no questions asked.
All ages welcome! Babies, toddlers, children, tweens and teens. There's something for everyone when you're free to make whatever you like.
Grown-ups are very welcome to get stuck in too. Or sit back, have a coffee and let the kids crack on. They know what they're doing!
Just to be clear, this isn't a drop-off session, so parents and carers do need to stay.
It's a relaxed drop-in, so come whenever suits you during the two hours and stay as long as you fancy.
Make a morning of it!
While you're at Brimscombe Mill, grab some lunch at The Long Table, have a rummage in Kids Stuff, investigate the second-hand treasures at The Home Remedy, or pop into The Bike Drop.
It's a pretty lovely place to spend a few hours, especially during the school holidays.
Time, materials, permission. That's Let’s Create.
Huge thanks to Stroud Rotary Club for supporting our work and helping us keep these sessions accessible.
Please share, tell your mates, bring someone new — and come play.
See you at the Mill!
