The House of Mischief by All Work No Childcare is opening its doors at The Sub Rooms. Get things done at our Serious Mischief coworking zone with desk space, WiFi and great coffee and snacks available from the Central Bar & Kitchen. Children will be looked after close by in our Little Mischief zone with professional onsite crèche from ELF Sitters.
What's happening:
- Serious Mischief (coworking): desks, WiFi, power and barista coffee/snacks available from the onsite cafe. Get some life admin done, prep a presentation, finish some research or start writing a novel.
- Little Mischief (crèche): play, stories and a Mischief Guide team from ELF Sitters for children aged 3 months to 8 years.
Who it's for: parents and carers who work: employed, self-employed, running a business, on leave and planning a return, studying.
How it works
1. Book a ticket and fill in the short form about your child to ensure we can fully meet their needs and prepare our staffing
2. Arrive from 9.25am. Sign little ones in to Little Mischief and say hello to the team, telling our onsite crèche team all they need to know about how you'd like things to go for your little one(s)
3. Head to Serious Mischief and get on with your work, coming to visit your child whenever suits you until doors close at 12.30pm. You must stay in the building for the whole duration of the pop-up.
This is a pop-up but it's also a test. We're building a permanent coworking space with flexible, quality, staffed childcare, and to do that we need to know what that care really costs, what parents will pay and where the gap is. If each pop-up loses money, we can't run the next one, let along open a space. Pricing it honestly means every pop-up pays for itself and we can keep going.

All Work, No Childcare is a Stroud project building a coworking space with flexible onsite childcare for working parents. This is a pop-up and not the finished thing, and your feedback shapes how we'll develop it.
