While autohinting might be good enough for some fonts, setting alignment zones and manually adding or correcting hints can be crucial for how a font appears on screen or in low-resolution printing (such as Risography). The hinting tutorials on Glyphsapp.com are very comprehensive, but the basics can be covered in just a few hours.

All workshops will be hosted and led by the Letterspace team, whose members have up to 20 years of experience in type design. Each workshop requires a minimum of 5 participants and has a maximum capacity of 12. You can secure your spot by purchasing a ticket. If a workshop is cancelled, tickets will be fully refunded through Eventbrite.

Doors open at 19:00, and the workshop starts promptly at 19:30. The workshop ends at 21:30, followed by an additional 30 minutes for individual questions.
