Dive into the exciting world of printmaking in this two-week workshop! This technique is an easy way to create a large amount of high-quality prints.
Working from a design of your own, you'll learn how to create a file suitable for polymer plate-making, send it off, and come back the next week to print your design on a vandercook printing press. This process teaches design theory, composition, and printing skills while creating dramatic and unique prints.
Workshop Schedule: Two consecutive Thursday evenings, 6:00-9:00 PM
Week 1 (May 21st): Design and compositionEstablish your design and refine it for maximum printing capability.
Week 2 (May 28th): Adhere polymer plate to block and print on vandercook press.
