About this Event
Audio storyteller, filmmaker, and author Bianca Giaever has had her work featured in This American Life, Radiolab, The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Believer Magazine, and the TED conference. In 2013, her college short film The Scared is Scared was named “Web Video of the Year” by USA Today. Her awards include a Daytime Emmy, a Webby, and, this year, the Audience Award at SXSW for her latest documentary short (with co-director Ora DeKornfeld)—Stalin Boys.
At this special, one-night only event, Giaever will discuss her artistic journey and show clips from her ecletic and impressive body of work.
