About this Event
IIDA NY is delighted to welcome USGBC for an overview of LEED v5, the next evolution of the world’s leading green building rating system.
This session is designed for designers who want to understand how the newest version of LEED affects material selection, documentation requirements, and project strategies.
We’ll focus on the credits most relevant to interior design practice, with a close look at Materials & Resources (MR) and Indoor Environmental Quality (EQ). Topics include finish selections, VOC requirements, and the growing importance of third-party documentation such as EPDs, HPDs, VOC certificates, and other transparency tools that support healthier, more sustainable interiors.
Whether you’re beginning your LEED journey or refreshing your knowledge for upcoming projects, this session will help you navigate the essentials of LEED v5 ID+C and understand how these changes shape day-to-day design decisions.
Wednesday, November 18, 5:30 to 7:30 pm
Haworth, 125 Park Avenue, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10017
The CEU begins promptly at 6 pm.
Can’t make it in person? The session will also be streamed online for ticket holders.
