Want to try something new, bring some energy into your autumn, and find your rhythm? We are launching brand-new Samba percussion workshops this November and December!
Every penny raised from these workshops goes directly towards fundraising for extra instruments for our upcoming community drum groups.
What to Expect
• No experience needed: These classes are designed completely for beginners.
• Try everything: Every week, everyone gets a hands-on turn with all the different samba instruments.
• Find your fit: Discover which percussion instrument suits you best and build your confidence before our official drum groups launch in the New Year!
Course Details
• Start Date: Sunday, 15th November (5-week course)
• Groups: We are running an Adult group and a Youth group (9–15 years old).
• Cost: Only £20 + 49p booking for the full 5-week course!
• Times: We are finalising the exact schedule right now (and we are open to feedback on days/times!).
How to Book: The booking form goes live on our website tomorrow afternoon. Keep your eyes peeled—we will send out the link as soon as it’s ready!
Coming Soon: Samba Tots!
We also plan to launch a monthly “Samba Tots” session for the little ones. Stay tuned for more details!
Looking Ahead to the New Year…
In the New Year, we will officially launch two weekly practice groups (one Adult, one Youth).
To cover the cost of the space, electricity, and instrument repairs, we expect weekly subs to be between £3 and £4.
P.S. We are actively applying for grants to keep costs as low as possible. If you happen to know a rich benefactor looking to support an amazing community music project, please send them our way!
