Maesgwyn Hall, Mold Road, Wrexham
Complimentary breakfast included
Join us for a special This is Wrecsam Tourism Business Breakfast as we bring together businesses and organisations from across Wrexham's tourism and hospitality industry to celebrate our achievements, reconnect with colleagues and look ahead to an exciting new chapter.
As we prepare to enter the 10th anniversary year of This is Wrecsam Tourism Partnership, this event marks the beginning of a 12-month programme of activities designed to celebrate and thank the businesses, organisations and individuals who have helped transform Wrexham's visitor economy over the past decade.
And there's plenty to celebrate...
A visitor economy approaching £200 million
The latest STEAM tourism figures for 2025 reveal that Wrexham's visitor economy is now worth £194.16 million annually, an increase of 1.9% on 2024 in current prices and almost double its nominal value in 2014.
Particularly encouraging is the continued growth of overnight tourism. Staying visitor numbers increased by 2.3% during 2025, while their economic impact rose by 4% to £111.79 million.
These figures highlight the growing importance of Wrexham as a short-break destination and the opportunities ahead for accommodation providers, attractions, restaurants, hospitality businesses and the wider visitor economy.
What's happening at our business breakfast?
As well as enjoying a complimentary breakfast and networking with fellow tourism professionals, attendees will have the opportunity to:
Be among the first to hear about our Winter 2026/27 programme, including new opportunities for businesses to get involved in destination-wide activity.
Discover what's ahead for Wrexham tourism in 2027, as we prepare to celebrate ten years of This is Wrecsam and build on the County Borough's growing national and international profile.
Help shape Wrexham's next Destination Management Plan, with an opportunity to share your priorities, challenges and ambitions for the visitor economy between 2027 and 2029.
Hear about our latest destination marketing and travel trade activity, including opportunities to reach new visitors, tour operators and markets.
Make valuable new connections with accommodation providers, attractions, hospitality businesses, tourism organisations and other industry partners from across Wrexham.
Celebrating the businesses behind Wrexham's success
Over the past decade, Wrexham's tourism landscape has changed enormously. From our internationally recognised heritage and growing visitor attractions to our hospitality businesses, accommodation providers, events and experiences, the County Borough has developed a stronger and increasingly distinctive visitor offer.
None of this progress would have been possible without the dedication, investment and enthusiasm of the local tourism industry.
As we look towards 2027, we want to take the opportunity not only to celebrate that contribution, but also to strengthen the partnerships that will help shape Wrexham's next decade of tourism growth.
Whether you're an established tourism business, a new operator or an organisation with an interest in Wrexham's visitor economy, we'd love you to join us.
Places are available to tourism and hospitality businesses across Wrexham County Borough. Breakfast is complimentary, but advance registration is requested.
We look forward to welcoming you to Maesgwyn Hall on Monday 16 November!
