🎣 Fishcare Victoria’s FREE Learn to Fish Clinics – Open to All! 🎣
As part of the Spring Into Summer Series, join Fishcare Victoria at Footscray Wharf on the Maribyrnong River for a free, fully facilitated Learn to Fish session.
Come along, get outdoors and learn the basics of recreational fishing in a relaxed, hands-on environment.
Whether you’ve never picked up a fishing rod before, are returning to fishing after some time away, or simply want to build your confidence, these sessions are designed to make learning to fish simple, safe and enjoyable.
Participants will learn the basics of recreational fishing in a fun, inclusive environment, with a strong focus on responsible and sustainable fishing practices.
🌟 What’s Included:
- A 60-minute hands-on fishing session
- How to use a rod and reel
- Basic fishing techniques
- Victorian fishing rules and responsible fishing practices
- Sustainable fishing techniques
- All equipment supplied, including rods, reels, tackle and bait
- The opportunity to put your new skills into practice and hopefully catch a fish!
No fishing licence is required for participants attending the clinic, with the session covered under Fishcare Victoria’s group fishing arrangements.
These sessions are suitable for all ages and experience levels.
