Come join us for a fun and engagingSalimpour Method belly dance class for beginners. You'll learn the basics of this beautiful dance form from Despina in a welcoming environment. Classes are in person, allowing you to connect with fellow dancers and feel the music together!
Learn from a dancer of the culture!
Despina's unique dance style seamlessly blends modern and vintage belly dance influenced by her Greek heritage and her training under the Salimpour School and Dalia Carella. You can find her performing and teaching in NYC and at various belly dance festival's within the US.
Despina is a Salimpour Licensed Intructor, a proud member of the Dalia Carella Dance Collective, group leader of the Manhattan Salimpour Collective and producer of Menagerie NYC.
Teaching in NYC, Despina creates a dynamic and enjoyable learning environment for her students, who attest to her ability to challenge them to dance safely with ease, grace, and power.
Fill out our liability form prior to attending our class. Failure to fill out the form will result in the instructor not letting you take the class.
*Despina has a zero tolerance policy for harassment, unwanted homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, ableist, or ageist behavior in her classes. Despina reserves the right to ask you to leave if you behave in any way that is making an students or dancers feel uncomfortable.
REFUNDS:
- NO refunds after the expiration date. You have 8 weeks to use your 5 classes.
- NO refunds after taking the classes.
- FULL refund prior to the start day of your class bundle / package whcih is the 1st Monday after purchase. *If you need to extend by a week or miss a class email Despina at [email protected]
- NO refunds if you are asked to leave for disruptive behavior. If you have taken a few of the classes you will only be refunded the balance of your bundle. Forinstance if you took 3 out of 5 classes you will be refunded for 2 classes minus processing fees.
- If the class gets cancelled for any reason you will receive an extension.
