Hi everyone, and welcome to “Lady Macbeth & Prometheus”, my final creative project at WAAPA! In this performance, you’ll hear lots of original music by me, including the world premiere of “Lady Macbeth”, commissioned and sung by the legendary Emma Matthews AM. Then to conclude the show, there’s a performance of a rarely heard gem of the classical repertoire, Alexander Scriabin’s “Prometheus: The Poem of Fire”. All of the music heard tackles the concept of light and darkness. Can an evil person like Lady Macbeth have some goodness within? Is Prometheus’ fate a noble sacrifice or a just punishment? Is social media really that bad? Come and find out!Important information:
