San Diego Tango, Tango California, and tango friends everywhere—something truly special is coming. I am deeply grateful and incredibly excited to announce that Tangolicioso will welcome the legendary Marcela Durán—La Reina del Tango—to San Diego, November 12–17, 2026.
Along my own tango journey, I have discovered something far greater than steps. Tango has expanded my creativity, connected me with remarkable people, and opened doors to its rich culture and timeless music. Most of all, it continues to remind me that one embrace can communicate what words sometimes cannot.
Bringing Marcela to San Diego is an opportunity to honor tango’s living history while learning directly from a woman whose passion, technique, elegance, and legacy have touched dancers around the world.
Take a closer look at the flyer, save the dates, and stay tuned for full details coming soon.
