🌿 Who This Is For
This class is designed for sustainability professionals, climate advocates, and purpose-driven individuals who are carrying the weight of the world - and feel it in their nervous system.

You do not need prior experience with kundalini yoga.

It’s especially supportive if you:

  • Feel the emotional weight of climate change, systems challenges, or the future of our planet (eco-anxiety, climate grief, or quiet overwhelm)
  • Find your mind constantly “on,” thinking about solutions, trade-offs, and what more could be done
  • Struggle to fully switch off, even when you step away from work
  • Carry a strong sense of responsibility and often hold it internally
  • Are ready to turn inward, not to perform, but to reconnect with your own steadiness and clarity

✨ What to Expect:
This is not a workout class. It’s a space to regulate your nervous system so you can continue doing meaningful work without burning out.

We use physical movement as a way to train the mind, helping you stay grounded, clear, and resilient in the face of complex, often overwhelming realities.

This one-hour class is designed to support your mental and emotional capacity. You’ll be guided every step of the way.

We begin with gentle breathwork to settle the nervous system, followed by simple, repetitive movements to release built-up tension and restore your internal rhythm. If time allows, we’ll close with a short, calming meditation.

The emphasis is on:

  • Releasing accumulated stress and emotional load from the body
  • Building awareness of how eco-anxiety and pressure show up internally
  • Practicing how to stay present and steady, even when facing discomfort or uncertainty
  • Expanding your capacity to lead and contribute without depletion

👜 What to Bring:
Please bring your yoga mat, a water bottle to stay hydrated, and a cushion/bolster for added comfort to your practice. Wearing white is optional.
🧘🏻‍♀️ About the Instructor:
With a background in engineering and sustainability, I’ve worked within corporate systems navigating complex challenges and the pressure to drive meaningful impact. I’ve also experienced burnout firsthand: the mental load, the constant “on,” and the difficulty switching off.

Kundalini yoga became a way for me to regulate my nervous system and continue showing up to this work with more clarity and steadiness. My classes are grounded in accessibility, personal choice, and building sustainable inner capacity.

  • Accessible - all bodies welcome
  • Personal choice - students take what resonates and leave the rest
  • Subtle shifts - every practice is a stepping stone for personal growth

What is Raising Potters?
There's one question I get a lot - what does Raising Potters mean? The name is inspired by my favourite quote: “the most beautiful thing a potter makes is ... the potter”. Like the potter, our greatest achievement is not what we do, but who we grow into along the way.
My vision is to raise the next generation to grow into who they are capable of being - connected to their inner power, showing up in the world with authenticity and ease, and contributing their unique strengths in service of a better future.

New to Uplift Collective?
Uplift Collective is a social club for corporate sustainability professionals to connect in-person. Toronto is our first chapter and the start of a broader vision to build a community of local chapters to uplift each other and create space for everyone, particularly in the world of global sustainability and personal wellbeing. Our focus is on authentic support and we love community coffee chats & organic, informal, member-led gatherings.
We are a member-run non-profit initiative and you can learn more about the vision here: https://www.raisingpotters.com/uplift-collective
