KULTURE EXCHANGE
Kulture Exchange is a workshop series by Kulture Konnective, created to bring you closer to the creative process of emerging artists.
This edition is hosted by Haniyah Abdou Said, inviting you into her practice through SCRAPS, a hands-on workshop inspired by her artwork A Garden of Releaf.
Together, you’ll explore creativity as a practice of connection, care and preservation, transforming found and upcycled textiles into your own personal garden. Through stitching, layering and embellishment, you’ll create pieces that represent the people, values, memories and aspirations you want to nurture in your life.
Working with discarded materials and giving them new meaning, SCRAPS invites you to reflect on what you want to carry forward, cultivate and make space for while experiencing creativity as a form of wellbeing, reflection and connection.
