About this Event
Whether you’ve mastered the basics or just want more practice with your needles, this hands-on workshop will help you build confidence and explore new stitches and patterns!
We’ll start with a quick refresher on casting on, the knit stitch, and binding off before diving into the purl stitch and learning how to combine knit and purl stitches to create different textures. From ribbing to moss stitch and stockinette, you’ll build a toolkit of techniques you can use to make adorable outfits for your mini companions (or even scale them up to create something for yourself)!
Because who wouldn’t want a matching fit with their mini-me?
What you will master:

What you will create: A cute knitted piece for your mini companion using your newly learned stitches and patterns. Feel free to bring your Labubu, teddy bear, or other mini friend from home!
What to expect:
- All materials included. We’ll provide the yarn, knitting needles, darning needle, pattern, and tote project bag to take home your project and any extra supplies.
- Step-by-step instruction. We’ll review the basics before working through each new stitch and pattern together. You’ll also receive instructional videos to reference after the workshop.
- A beginner-friendly refresher. Already know the basics? Great! We’ll help you brush up on your skills before moving on to new techniques.
- Extra knitting resources. Not sure what stitch markers, row counters, or other knitting notions are for? We’ll introduce some useful tools so you can explore what works best for you and your knitting style.
