About this Event
Come see what a school shaped for children looks and feels like.
Join us for an adults-only Open House at Montessori Children's Center on Saturday, November 14 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Established in 1976, Montessori Children's Center reopened in 2026 under new leadership, carrying forward its classical Montessori roots while introducing expanded outdoor learning, enrichment programs, and a new approach to supporting families. Today, we welcome children ages 2 to 6.
At MCC, we help children build a foundation for life. Through hands-on learning and individualized guidance, children develop confidence, independence, curiosity, and the ability to think for themselves.
Our mornings center on purposeful, self-paced learning in our Montessori classrooms. Our full-day program also includes three hours outdoors, with free play, gardening, nature education, art, music, and movement. Spanish and French are woven into everyday activities.
Our commitment to children extends to their families, with personalized progress reports and dedicated parent support. And our school itself was built for children, with child-sized doors and windows, child-accessible bathrooms, and furnishings designed to encourage independence and exploration.
Come explore our classrooms and outdoor spaces, meet our team, and discover what makes MCC special. You may leave wishing you could go back to preschool yourself!
