About this Event
Kimjang is a Korean tradition. Before winter, communities come together to make a large amount of kimchi at once. For our last event of the year, we are bringing this tradition to Berlin.
This is less of a class and more of a party. We will make kimchi side by side, enjoy the afternoon, and eat together.
And yes, it is Halloween! We will give you a Korean grandma-style kimjang vest, but you are welcome to come in your Halloween costume too. 👻
Includes
– Making kimchi together (take your own jar home)
– A shared meal: suyuk (boiled pork), fresh kimchi, rice, and ssam vegetables (leafy greens for wrapping)
– Makgeolli (Korean rice wine)
