In this hands-on cooking class, kids will learn how to make delicious sweet empanadas from scratch, featuring two yummy fillings: Apple Cinnamon and Dulce de Leche!
Young chefs will get to ROLL it. FILL it. FOLD it. BAKE it. EAT it!
During class, Little Chefs will:
- Make their own empanada dough from scratch
- Learn how to roll out their dough using a rolling pin
- Cut and shape their empanadas
- Fill their empanadas with sweet apple cinnamon filling
- Make dulce de leche-filled empanadas
- Learn how to fold and seal their empanadas
- Prepare their empanadas for baking
- Enjoy their freshly baked creations!
No cooking experience needed! This class is designed to introduce kids to basic baking skills, encourage creativity, and build confidence in the kitchen while learning to make a traditional treat enjoyed in many Latin American cultures.
