Ready for a little adventure?
Join The Maternity Diary for a ladies-only Jura Creek Nature Adventure, a chance to get away from the everyday routine, spend time outdoors, connect with other women and experience one of Alberta's beautiful natural landscapes.
We're heading out for a return day trip to Jura Creek, where we'll explore the trail together, take in breathtaking views and discover some of the area's hidden natural wonders.
And because a good adventure deserves a good meal, we'll finish the experience with dinner in Canmore before heading home. ❤

This is a ladies-only experience.
📍 Where Are We Going?
Jura Creek, Alberta
Jura Creek offers a unique outdoor experience with dramatic rock formations, creek-bed scenery and beautiful surroundings close to the Canadian Rockies.
We will meet at the Cochrane Historic Museum then leave at 12pm. Carpool arrangements and itinerary will be communicated to registered participants in a group chat before the event. Please add your phone number when registering by sending an email to [email protected] so carpool arrangements can be coordinated.
Transportation & Carpooling
We will coordinate carpooling among registered participants to make travelling together easier and add to the fun of the experience. We will be asking for a little token (at least $10 per person) to the person who will be driving to chip in for gas.
Dinner in Canmore
After our Jura Creek adventure, we'll head to Canmore for dinner time to relax, eat and enjoy each other's company before making the return trip home.
Dinner is part of our planned itinerary; however, each participant is responsible for the cost of her own meal and beverages
What to Bring Please come prepared for an outdoor mountain adventure. We recommend bringing: Comfortable waterproof shoes, Weather-appropriate layers, Water, Snacks, Small backpack, and Sunscreen.
Weather in the mountains can change quickly, so dressing in layers is strongly recommended.
