In 2025 a medical team from the UK headed to Kyrgyzstan and set up a series of medical posts on Lenin Peak (7134m). Billed as the world’s 'easiest' 7,000m peak, the mountain attracts hundreds of visitors to its slopes each year. Unfortunately, many are not prepared for what they eventually encounter.Join us for an evening of medicine in the mountains as Jeremy Windsor discusses the Slava Topol Project, explaining what goes wrong at altitude and what you can do to avoid a similar fate!
The talk will be held at the Alpine Club's premises at 55 Charlotte Road, EC2A 3QF and, as always, non-members are welcome to attend.
